ACB Set For USA Debut, ACB 51 Fight Card Announced


A new MMA promotion is set to make it’s debut in the United States in 2017. Absolute Championship Berkut, also known as ACB, will be bringing their promotion to the USA from Russia for ACB 51. The event will take place on January 13, 2017 at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California. The main event features former UFC vet Thiago Silva and Jared Torgeson.

ACB began in Grozy, Russia and has held events across the globe in Georgia, Tajikistan, Poland, and Scotland. 2017 will also see the promotion make their debut in England and Austria.

ACB features a 13-bout fight card with names many MMA fans will be recognize including Luis Palomino, Musa Khamanaev,  Tim Hague, Mike Kyle, Jesse Taylor, Danny Martinez, Pat Healy, and more.

Featherweight (145): Musa Khamanaev vs. Luis Palomino
Lightweight (155): Leandro Buscape vs. Pat Healey
Lightweight (155): Pulga Pimentel vs. Cristos Giagos
Heavyweight (205+): Mike Kyle vs. Tim Hague
Light Heavyweight (205): Rodney Wallace vs. Shamil Gamzatov
Bantamweight (135): Terrion Ware vs. Nick Mamalis
